Welcomes you to the land of eco-diversity. The
diversity of climate and topography varying from
arid desert and tropical rain forest to mountain
range over 4000 feet in altitude is reflected in
its rich flora and fauna. The land of tigers,
panthers, bison, deer and antelopes, wild
boars, bears, blue bull, great Indian bustards
has many challenges invariably
pleasant. Traverse through the thick
virgin rain forests to arid landscapes; enjoy
the diversity of flora and fauna rarely
encountered in such scale and magnificence.

Forest Development Board was established by the
Government of Maharashtra in 1969 for converting large
blocks of low value mixed forests into valuable stands.
Considering its experience and the recommendations of
the National Commission on Agriculture regarding raising
of manmade forests, " Forest Development Corporation of
Maharashtra Limited " was incorporated under the
Companies Act, 1956 on 16th February 1974 as
a wholly owned Government Company of State of
Maharashatra with the following main objectives
